What is Cold Pressed?
Cold Pressed is a method of juicing using a Cold Pressed Juicer. This involves a 2-step process of grinding and pressing the produce which extracts juice without generating heat.
Cold Pressed Juicers press the produce, causing minimal oxidation therefore allowing the juice to stay fresh longer.
What is the Difference?
A Centrifugal Juicer (what most people have at home
and in some juice bars, cafés, etc.) spins rapidly which creates heat that destroys vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
A Centrifugal’s blades rip apart the produce very quickly causing the juice to mix with air. This method oxidizes the juice, making
the molecules degrade faster and resulting in a shorter shelf life.
A Cold Pressed juice will last up to 4 days in the fridge, whereas a Centrifugal juice should be consumed immediately
to reap the most nutritional benefits.

HOW LONG WILL THE JUICES LAST?
Cold-pressed juices last up to 4 days in the fridge with all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals still in tact.
WHAT ABOUT FIBER?
During the juicing process, insoluble fiber is extracted with the pulp while the soluble fiber remains. Soluble fiber absorbs water which keeps you full without adding extra calories to your diet and promotes healthy bowel movements. It also helps to reduce cholesterol levels along with keeping blood sugar levels under control.

Some people cleanse when the seasons change but you can cleanse to reset your system whenever you feel it is needed – just listen to your body.
WILL I LOSE WEIGHT DOING A CLEANSE?
During a cleanse you will lose unwanted water retention as you are flushing out your system. Many people do lose weight however, our juice cleanse is not a solution to lose weight but to focus on detoxifying the system, which contributes to weight-loss.
CAN I EAT ON MY CLEANSE?
During a cleanse, it is recommended that you do not eat to give your stomach a rest and let the nutrient-dense juice repair your gut. Eating will slow down the cleansing process but if you do need to eat, we recommend eating raw organic vegetables or soaked nuts and seeds.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE AFFECTS?
As with any cleanse, you will experience some detox-symptoms from toxins being released. This is a sign that it’s working so just remember to drink plenty of water to flush the toxins out of your body.
